The Brief:
Design a digital and print report celebrating BTWCSC’s 2021–2025 growth.

What Actually Happened:
Booker T. Washington Community Service Center’s story needed more than a simple brochure that reads like a spreadsheet. This was 107 years of history, six core programs changing lives, and a community that showed up for all of it. The transformation report had to feel like a celebration of a community’s legacy: proud, welcoming, and joyful.

We built the design around celebration. Rich, vibrant color. Patterns pulled from Black culture and community tradition, woven through every section. Real photos from real community events. Stats highlighting the remarkable growth.

The report moves through the organization’s heritage and legacy, its mission, vision, and values, the six core programs, and the people and supporters who made the last few years possible, and ways to get involved and support the future of BTWCSC.

Delivered as both a digital site and a printed piece, the report gives BTWCSC something they can hand to a donor, share with the community, and stand as proof of what’s possible when a community shows up for itself.
