A Dash Of is a curated selection of deliciousness from the creative minds at Noise 13. Founded by Dava Guthmiller, the brand transforms her personal passion for salt collection into a curated experience. The goal was to create an identity that positions flavors not just as their basic ingredient but as a foundational element that brings brightness and beauty to every dish. Beyond products, “A Dash Of” curates experiences and content that inspire discovery, education, and sharing.

Through collaborative naming workshops, we developed “A Dash Of”—a name that perfectly captures the essence of adding just the right amount of something special. By creating a sophisticated yet approachable brand, we elevate everyday ingredients to an artisanal experience worth exploring, enabling us to tell the stories of the makers. 

The elegant italic logotype with a distinctive swoosh after “Dash” was to mimic the gesture of sprinkling ingredients. An eye-catching blue inspired by the purity of salt and its oceanic origins serves as our primary color. The system includes custom icons based on unique salt flake structures and a typography style that feels like adding a sprinkle of flavor.

With A Dash Of, we’re not just curating taste, but crafting experiences. It’s a platform that brings fundamental ingredients into the spotlight, inviting culinary enthusiasts to explore, learn, and share the joy of discovery through something as simple yet profound as salt.
