Ho & Lacy

Dream, to Design, to Done

The Brief:
Launch an architecture studio identity.

What Actually Happened:
Building a brand system designed to deepen client relationships.

Architecture firms don’t win on portfolio alone. They win on trust — and trust is built through every touchpoint, from the first email to the final housewarming. When Ho & Lacy came to us, the question wasn’t just “what should this look like?” It was: how do you build a visual system that feels as personal as the people?

The audit surfaced what makes Ho & Lacy genuinely different: a client experience built around warmth, collaboration, and honoring the rituals of home. Their process is hands-on and personal. The brand had to do the same.

We built a system with room to breathe — elegant enough for formal correspondence, flexible enough for handwritten notes and DIY touches. The identity centers on a custom ampersand that quietly holds both founders’ initials (two J’s). A palette anchored in deep green brings nature into every piece of collateral, mirroring what Ho & Lacy does in their architecture.

The deliverables: brand assets, website, tone of voice platform, and messaging guidelines. The goal: give a small, personal firm the tools to show up consistently from first contact to move-in day — without losing the human touch that makes them worth hiring.
