Introducing: The In/Visible Project

Noise 13’s founder and chief creative officer, Dava Guthmiller, along with her long time friend Arianna Orland of Paper Jam Press, have set out to cultivate a community of designers, artists, and creative thinkers. How? The In/Visible Project: a year-round series of small-scale Salons, which culminate at In/Visible Talks on January 11th, 2018 — a one day, one track conference designed to inspire and connect across industries and disciplines.

The mission of the In/Visible Project is to bring people together through conversation about the art of design. With sensational speakers, the perfect partners, a team of valiant volunteers, and an urge to say ‘YES’ to everything, Dava and Arianna have crafted an organization and conference to do just that. Here’s what the inaugural conference, In/Visible Talks, has in store for us next month:

  • Kelli Anderson, Artist & Author, will share how design can help us find new possibilities hiding in the experiences (and materials) that we most take for granted.
  • Marta Harding, Design Lead at IDEO, will give us advice for finding the light amidst a creative blackout.
  • Case for Making and Chronicle Books will collaborate with In/Visible on stocking a pop up shop full of items to inspire and delight.
  • Rob Goodman, Host of the podcast Making Ways, will be interviewing Jesse Genet, founder and CEO of Lumi.com, about her professional journey as a creator.
  • And so much more!

Noise 13 has been working hard over the last few months to design and create the brand, website, collateral, merchandise and conference materials for the event. Here’s a little sneak peek of what we’ve been up to:

With less than a month left until the conference, we’re so excited to see all the pieces falling into place. We hope you can join us — grab your seat now before tickets sell out. See you there!
