February Top 13: Designs That are the Color Red

February 13, 2020 | By Noise 13

Between National Wear Red Day, Valentine’s Day and National Cherry Month, we have red on the brain. Here are our favorite design pieces and brands awash in February’s unofficial color.

01

Lots of museums use red, but nobody quite owns it like The Met.

02

Worn by everyone from Dita von Teese to Cardi B, the Louboutin soles have become totally iconic.

03

Comme De Garcons’ PLAY line utilizes a peek of red in a heart with eyes – yes please.

04

Fischer-Price recently refreshed their brand, and while lots of elements were changed, we were happy to see them still leading with red.

05

Designed in 1946, this LCW provided a major splash of color against the other famous molded plywood pieces Ray and Charles created.

06

Supreme is one of the cultiest fashion brands on the market. Their simple red block logo is slapped on to any random product and instantly quadruples its value.

07

Love the classic lines and super sexy burnt red paint job on this beauty of a car from Kindig It.

08

Rihanna’s matte Stunna Lip Paint looks amazing on everyone.

09

Designed in 1948, Eero Saarinen’s Womb Chair is almost always photographed in this glorious red fabric.

10

Referencing sci-fi and horror films of the 1980s, Stranger Things is a perfect throwback.

11

The loudness of the red, handwritten Virgin logo is instantly recognizable – letting you know that there’s something special about everything Branson touches.

12

Yayoi Kusama’s Dots Obsession is simple but incredibly powerful.

13

The king of asian-style hot sauces, Huy Fong Foods Sriracha, has built an entire brand around the color of the product.
