Office Manager & HR Support

The HR+office manager is a broad supportive role, wearing many hats and pitching in wherever needed.  Day to day duties includes making sure the office runs efficiently, stays clean and organized, and all technology functions well. HR duties will include paperwork, onboarding, and benefits management.  Besides, this role assists in ongoing projects throughout the office, including copy editing, research, tech support, and event coordination. Must be able to multi-task and always be willing to lend a hand.

This role will start as part-time.

Office (60%): own the office

  • Greet and set up for all guests
  • All weekly snack and grocery orders for the office
  • Keep office generally neat + tidy
  • Manage all improvement projects in the office, including any outside vendors
  • Be the main point of contact with IT team, work with Noise team to keep things up to date
  • Order and replenish all office + cleaning supplies
  • Coordinate office outings and events
    • Manage catering, bookings
    • Manage RSVPs
  • Manage outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Water plants
  • Manage travel plans and bookings
  • Run local errands

 

HR Support (30%): keeping the team up to date

  • Coordinate new employee onboarding
    • Send all new hire documents
    • Coordinate first-day schedule with PMs and creative leads
    • Update new hire packet with employee’s information + schedule
    • Set up computers, email + account logins
    • Conduct onboarding meeting
  • File all employee paperwork with bookkeeping
  • Manage all employees’ benefits programs + enrollment
  • Maintain up to date employee information
  • Manage PTO requests and track all taken and requested hours
  • Handle all employee termination forms
