San Francisco-based Personality Hotels is home to some of the city’s first boutique hotels. Having grown over many decades, the company’s old identity and collateral lacked cohesiveness and didn’t properly represent their hotel family. After an extensive in-person visit to each hotel, brand analysis, and customer and staff interviews, Noise 13 discovered that personal experience was the key to the company and the brand creating a strategy towards a more cohesive brand package.

Since Personalty Hotels was undergoing major overhauls in three of their hotels, it was the perfect time to give their parent brand a face-lift while we worked on the individual hotels’ branding. A redesigned corporate logo, new messaging, print collateral, and graphic standards better aligned them with their target markets and unified the family of hotels. We also developed identity and in-room materials for the individual hotels (Hotel Frank, Hotel Vertigo, Hotel Union Square) as well as a refresh of materials for Hotel Diva and the Kingston Park Hotel.
