The Good Food Awards celebrates the kind of food we all want to eat: tasty, authentic and responsibly produced. This annual blind tasting, awards ceremony, and marketplace for producers with outstanding American food, needed a brand that could be used on products, marketing materials, and websites to convey what and who produced this good food.Taking inspiration from county fairs, simple and direct type with the ribbon graphic is used for a brand that can be
turned into 3 colors for the awards, for the GFA event brand, and GFA month. The dusty blue is distinctive and a modern take on the blue ribbon award. The ribbon was also accompanied by icons for each food/beverage category. This brand has been seen as stickers on winner products, signage in Whole Foods, and cut out of metal for the physical awards presented to winners.We look forward to the growth of this annual event and all of it’s connected programs to support good food.
