Brand Strategist/Writer (Contract)

We are:

A diverse and tight knit team who work collaboratively with our clients and team members to create innovative and interactive design, from brand to print to digital. We value open minds, hard work, and good food. We are also seeking just the right fit of personality, brains, skills, and desire.

We work on a wide range of projects — from brand strategy to web design to all-out brand creation. We are looking for someone who thinks niches are overrated and seeks variety, who can bring the same level of enthusiasm and insight to everything from tech startups to specialty food brands, and anything in between. We pride ourselves on bringing creativity and an innovative perspective to every project, as well as seeing the big picture for our clients.

You are:

An intuitive and driven person whose curiosity is ignited by digging into new industries, understanding market dynamics, uncovering how consumers behave, and building brands from the inside. You have a proven knack for insight and empathy. You love language, writing, and storytelling. You’re excited about the process of brand strategy and are looking to further hone your craft.

You enjoy researching and synthesizing large amounts of information into simple, distilled language. You’re ok spending time in the gray areas before jumping to conclusions, yet when the time comes, you aren’t afraid to form a perspective. You are highly detail-oriented, yet able to step back and see the big picture. You care about getting the words and ideas just right and creating something of value for clients.

Details:

You’ll work on a range of research, strategy, and writing tasks — from conducting competitive and consumer research to developing brand positioning recommendations to creating client presentations and copywriting.

You’ll report to and support our Strategy Director.
