The prolific Jonathon Harris has recently launched his latest project, The Whale Hunt, an interactive art project/storytelling experiment that documents his 9 day journey with the Inupiat Eskimos in Northern Alaska. Mr. Harris is the creator of such projects as We Feel Fine and Universe, where he weaves elements of computer science, anthropology and storytelling to create visually-arresting, though-provoking experiences. His work often deals with what it means to be human – many of them are built to automatically gather data from the web and assemble it into what amounts to a microscopic look at how we communicate with one another.
