Last night I had the great fortune to see designer, typographer, and artist Marian Bantjes speak as part of the AIGA design lecture series. You may have recently seen some of her work as part of the Want It ad campaign at Saks Fifth Avenue. Her type design usually involves intricate ornamentation drawn with stunning precision, yet it still manages to come off feeling handmade.

I recently saw Marian Bantjes at ThinkTank Nashville. Her work is amazing and if you have the chance to see her - GO!
