Anova: A Friendly Update for Retail Packaging
Earlier this year, return client Anova came to us looking for a refresh to their packaging. With the Nano, a new product offering at a lower price point launching in Walmart stores around the country, they needed to update their look and feel to something more approachable and inclusive of a broader audience.
Through revised language and new imagery, we highlighted the different food groups that customers can cook with sous vide, shifting away from the previous focus on steak. With millenials as a significant target demographic, new photography mimics the popular top-down style found on social media. We also streamlined the iconography to help tell the sous vide story and quickly educate those unfamiliar with the technique. The result is a package that delivers a friendlier and simpler message to customers interested in trying out this traditionally technical cooking method.
